So, maybe 2011 wasn't so great in the long run, I did enjoy the hell out of some parts, but through most of it, meh. I suppose that the latter part of the year was the best, I met some of the greatest people in the world, if not the craziest. Burned Bridges are a sad, sad occurrence, but it happens. So, I lost friends, made friends, and lived life as I should.
Late in the year, I chose to convert to Buddhism, being a man of violence and anger, I think that the teachings of a man of peace would be great for me. It's proved a prosperous decision so far, but getting rid of all my hate will be the hard part. I suppose once I'm able to make Temple and actually talk to other Buddhists, I'll be able to understand how to effectively meditate and calm myself.
I've also had a change in musical tastes this year. I stopped listening to so much Metallica and I started listening to Ska. It keeps me up, it makes me smile, it helps me stay sane. My favorite band out there has to be The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Their lyrical styling, their complicated riffs and fast, poppy, feel is just great.
School is starting soon. Perhaps I won't have so many mental problems this year. I'm not too sure what my schedule is right now, I'll find out on tuesday. I'm going for a business administration major, so wish me luck.
Anyway, to wrap up this little 'update', I'm going to post more often this year.
