Trilling In the Name of!

Alright, I'm a BIG RAtM fan. Respect the old stuff. Now, I'm not normally one for marching band covers of the old stuff. But, damn, this is straight up amazing. I've never been so impressed by a marching/concert band.
Also, the girl in the red playing the Piccolo is doing it properly. This is metal! Feel it! The whole brass section gets on it amazingly well and keeps it together. Wish the Trombones in Goldthwaite, Texas could pull of something this awesome. They HAD a proper bassist after all.
Coolest Video of the week. By far. It wins.
Cute GIF time.

So, I got The Road To El Dorado on dvd tonight, and met a really cool chick (with a tattoo of Navi from Legend of Zelda on her wrist) But I was stupid enough to pursue her. So, tomorrow night, I'm going to go back to the store where I got the move, introduce myself, and ask for a date. Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll genuinely want to go out with a nerd ass named Link, or maybe she'll feel sorry for my because I tripped all over my words and give  me a pity date. Either way, it's win-win. On the other hand; 'No' is the worst thing that could be said. Wish me luck on that. I'm not holding my breath, but I have an O2 tank, just in case.

Cute gif time #2
Where these cute things come from, I have no clue, but they make me smile.

Also, *whisper* I hear a Witch, turn off your lights!
If I saw this at any convention, I wouldn't know whether to cr0wn them, or to be aroused.

Also, rule 34, it ruins childhoods for everyone.

Meh, whatever, Night all, have a good tomorrow, wish me luck with the whole 'unknown nerd girl' thing, and with my interview for Cheddar's!

Final gif of the night!
Explain that one to me, please?

Pick yourself up by the boot straps!

Got the new Dropkick Murphys album "Going out in Style", and I have to say, it stirs up my Irish blood more than anything has in a long time.  It's got the perfect PvP anthem too, Track number one, "Hang 'em High". Nothing better than slaughtering some horde to bad ass Celtic Rock.
Call me crazy, but that's fighting material. The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly and a pint of Guinness, that's a good evening. A banjo just makes everything better, there's nothing to it. I never feel happier than when I hold the Irish Rhythm in my heart. It will always be with me, but I'm not lucky enough to call the Emerald Isle my home.

Also, Mastadon is another friggin' amazing band, just fyi.

Attention!

Religion is like a penis, it's okay to have one, it's even alright to be proud of yours, but don't go flaunting it around in public or even worse, shoving it down my throat.

I, for one, am currently unsure if I believe in a higher power, but seeing the reaction of the Christian Church (as a whole) to this Japanese Earthquake thing, is making me not want to believe. Lets face it guys, disasters happen, it's gotta be the world solution to the over population problem. It's like a dog shaking off fleas. The Earth, although lacking everything to be considered a living organism, is alive.

As for the religious wars going on, that's been going on for centuries. I'm not worried if it seems like the end of times, because that's been an ongoing thing for centuries too. So, don't be scared.

In other news: Time for Pokemon Black!

Here is my reaction to all this end of the world bullshit (for lack of a better word).

Breast Milk Ice-cream? Yum!

No, not really. That's kinda nasty actually. Not just kind of nasty, apparently, the shop in London, England that was selling the ice-cream was shut down because it was 'unfit for human consumption'.

In other news, I'm crazy, or just not as quick to get over things as I thought.

In other, other news. Optimists die sooner. I hope that's not true, I mean, I'm gloomy as the bayou in the mid-afternoon sun, but I know people that are not. According to UPI.com, optimists will end up living a shorter life that people who see the glass as half empty. Fellow Pessimists, convert your sun shiny brothers and sisters, and enjoy a long healthy life with them. Remember, the glass may be half full, but what are it's contents? I'd rather have a half-empty glass of piss than a half-full one.

In the 'Interesting health facts' category, according to Chicagotribune.com, women who drink coffee have a lower risk of having a stroke than women who don't drink coffee. Yes, have that second pot, mother, it'll help you in the long run. The threat is reduced up to 25% in women who drink coffee regularly. That's pretty damn cool, but I'll be impressed if the next study that these people do finds that Twinkies have the same properties as the best diet pills, but no side effects.

We all know about the stuff that's going on in Japan, it's a tragedy, it's sad. If i had more disposable income, I'd donate as much as I could to the relief effort. But on a semi-related not, it's not the start of 2012! Christ, I mean, really? 2012 is not coming 'Sooner than we think!' in the words of a guild mate. I'm not even worried if it is. I'm ready! Are you? I've survived at least four apocalypse situations, I'm ready for another! The Mayans lived forever ago, how could we know what that stupid calender meant? Bring it on, world, bring it on!

Hmm, it's raining outside right now. Bout damn time. Well, I'm nearly about to pass out.
What is love? Baby don't hurt me! Don't hurt me! No more!

aaaanyway, With love,

'Merica

Okay, this is not one of those 'America! F*ck yeah!' posts.
Watching the news lately has lead me to believe that the population, as a whole, is getting stupider. Apparently, Charlie Sheen is more of an interest than our independence on foreign oil, and the Lohan thing is important to everyone, more so than any changes in stock or weather.

Oh, and get this, our great leader, Barack Obama is cutting funding to education. He said in a recent interview that he was cutting the funding because "Our children need more experience in the work field." Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that what school is f*cking for!? Seriously... I have no words for how stupid that is.

Without schools, we'll turn into what the world already thinks we are.

The whole education thing pisses me off to no end...

School is good. Illiterate teenage laborers are not so good.

Argh, off the topic of politics and the news for now. I got Pokemon Black Version on sunday! Yeah, pretty damn sick if you ask me. It's like a whole new game! I've never been so entertained by a Pokemon game!

Well, I'm reading through Fark.com every day trying to find interesting articles to pass on. I've found one or two worth reading.

For King fans! New Novel Idea

For people who are into crime dramas! http://www.fox41.com/story/14200983/couple-allegedly-found-passed-out-at-wendys

Alright, I leave you with this image. Hope you find it to be as cool as I did.

Much love, readers, much love.

WoW and such other video games

Well, after respawning my computer, I have to redownload WoW. I hit 85 on my Night Elf Druid before I had to redownload, thank God, and I am currently getting her geared for Heroics. Before too long, I hope to have her raiding fit. That won't be hard with my awesome guild <Wasabiburn>.  I have friends tell me that Druid tanking is terrible, but I've yet to see how terrible it is. Sure, I get rage starved with bigger pulls, but other than that, no problem.

That's her, my druid, I think that this is when she was 84 or so.

In other news, I'm working on Majora's Mask while I wait for my new copy of Twilight Princess to come in. I still hate the AnjuxKefea side quest and the Aliens on the Farm side quest. I'm at the dreaded Water Temple. *sigh* It makes me want to Ragequit, but at least it's not the hardest of Zelda water temples.

I've given up on Black Ops on 360, I can't handle the children online. They think they know everything, that everything I do is wrong. So... I quit, it was a good run, but it's time to buy CS:S and TF2 on Steam. At least 10 year olds can't use a keyboard.

Pokemon black comes out in 6 days, I'm going to go to the midnight release and play until first light. I can't wait to triple battle, and I wish I could afford the 3DS, but that will come later.

Oh! I've got an interesting video for you guys! I wish I could be as awesome as the guy in this video.

Yeah, King Nerd, right?

Anyway, that's all for today, I hope I can find some other stuff to talk about before tomorrow. Maybe my first Heroic Instance?

Oh, I wan't you guys to chime in! What was your favorite Zelda Temple? What was your least favorite? Lemme hear it!

Well, have a good day, my friends, and as always, much love,
Linkage

First Post Time

So, a lot of things have been going on lately, they seem rather crazy. I've been studying for my G.E.D and all, so I've had a lot of time to think about things. Here are a few random thoughts.

Gas Prices. Seriously. Remember $2.30 dollars a gallon? Me either. Here in Grand Prairie gas is almost $3.50 dollars a gallon. Dependence on foreign oil is just too great in this country, if we used what American Oil Companies drilled out of the Gulf every year, we'd be set forever, but nope, can't do that for some reason or another.

That whole "You don't know what you've got 'till it's gone" thing? Yeah that's me to a T right now. I messed up, I know I did. I was jaded, but maybe it's all for the best. After all, I fell as if I've gained another person I could call my "Sister" with that whole ordeal. 'Twas a good run, alas, all good things must come to an end.

I'm trying to watch the news so I can think of good topics for blogs and discussions for my readers (If I ever get any). So far, it's all dribble about Justin Beaver. I give to dude credit, I don't like him, but I have to give him credit. Dude can sing, he's got a great voice, but it's his auto tuned sound that is just a turn off for me and some of my other friends. But honestly I couldn't give a flying f*ck if he cut his hair. The whole  Lohan case is just a big bag of bull crap too. She stole a watch, and violated her parole. Throw her drug using arse in jail, and be done with it.

If I can find some decent articles, interesting pictures, or fun videos, I'll post them here. Maybe you can watch something funny after reading through a bunch of my incoherent dribble.

Stay chill, readers. If there are any.

Mucho Amor, Linkage.
